One Giant Leap

I saw this film in the Multimedia tent at a festival called The Big Chill in the Larmer Tree Gardens near Salisbury, UK, in the summer of 2001. I had just arrived at the festival - not feeling great - and I danced to the entire film - which blew the cobwebs away and got me into festival mood.

The film is divided into several sections, entitled, "Death"; "Sex": "Aggression", etc. and each section explores the ways different cultures handle these aspects of human existence. There is footage from all round the world, and interviews with dozens of interesting people - Ram Dass; Gabrielle Roth; Tom Robins...

As it happens, the film is just now being released on DVD, and the music is available on a CD with the same title.
