I've always liked eating porridge in the mornings, but in the last two or three years have got into eating it almost every day for breakfast. That's a habit I got into through the influence of my friend Arunak.

Porridge for breakfast just works. My body seesm to digest it well, and a couple of bowls sets me up for the day. Arunak cooks it with banana and cinnamon, and then serves it with sliced banana on top. I've been doing it like that too, and it is very good, ...but I've recently discovered how to cook porridge overnight using a slow cooker or 'crock pot'.
